وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، ثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ - يَعْنِي الْأَشْقَرَ - عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ:

رَأَيْتُ الْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَيْنَ ؓ عَلَى عَاتِقَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ: نِعْمَ الْفَرَسُ تَحْتَكُمَا. فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: وَنِعْمَ الْفَارِسَانِ هُمَا

✧ I saw al-Hasan and al-Husayn ؓ on the shoulders of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so I said, "What an excellent mount is beneath you two." The Prophet ﷺ said, "And what excellent riders they are."
