✧ What to say upon entering and leaving the mosque

- وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ [أَبَانَ]، ثَنَا هِشَامٌ - هُوَ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ عَنْ يَحْيَى - هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ ؓ:
أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ يُسَلِّمُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: ( اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ )، وَإِذَا خَرَجَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَيَتَعَوَّذُ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ
Translation

✧ That when he entered the mosque, he would greet the Prophet ﷺ, then say: 'O Allah, open for me the gates of Your mercy,' and when he left, he would send blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ and seek refuge from Satan.
