✧ What one says when entering and leaving the mosque

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ رَبِيعٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ الْكُبْرَى قَالَتْ:

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ، اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي، وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ، وَإِذَا خَرَجَ، قَالَ مِثْلَهَا إِلَّا أَنَّهُ يَقُولُ: أَبْوَابَ فَضْلِكَ

Translation

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the mosque, he would say: "O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad. O Allah, forgive me my sins and open for me the gates of Your mercy." And when he left, he would say the like of it, except that he would say: "the gates of Your bounty."
