Translation

✧ I came to Sa'd b. Malik ؓ in Madinah, and he said, "It has been mentioned to me that you all revile Ali ؓ?" He said, "We have done so." He said, "Perhaps you have reviled him?" I said, "Allah forbid." He said, "Do not revile him, for if a saw were placed on the parting of my hair on condition that I revile Ali ؓ, I would never revile him after hearing from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ what I heard."
