حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شَقِيقُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ عُرْفُطَةَ قَالَ:
أَتَيْتُ سَعْدَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَقَالَ: ذُكِرَ لِي أَنَّكُمْ تَسُبُّونَ عَلِيًّا ؟ قَالَ: قَدْ فَعَلْنَا، قَالَ: فَلَعَلَّكَ قَدْ سَبَبْتَهُ ؟ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: مَعَاذَ اللهِ، قَالَ: فَلَا تَسُبَّهُ، فَلَوْ وُضِعَ الْمِنْشَارُ عَلَى مَفْرِقِي عَلَى أَنْ أَسُبَّ عَلِيًّا مَا سَبَبْتُهُ أَبَدًا بَعْدَمَا سَمِعْتُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مَا سَمِعْتُ
