✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a pottery vessel in which he urinated. When morning came, he ﷺ would say: 'O Umm Ayman, pour out what is in the pottery vessel.' One night I got up thirsty and drank what was in it. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'O Umm Ayman, pour out what is in the pottery vessel.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I got up thirsty and drank what was in it.' He ﷺ said: 'You will never complain of your stomach after this day of yours, ever.'

machine translationAbū Mālik al-Nakhaʿī, whose name is ʿAbd al-Malik b. Ḥusayn, narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Shihāb narrated it from Abū Mālik, from al-Aswad b. Qays, from Nubayḥ al-ʿAnazī, from Umm Ayman. Salm b. Qutaybah and Qurrah b. Sulaymān contradicted him, and they narrated it from Abū Mālik, from Yaʿlā b. ʿAṭāʾ, from al-Walīd b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, from Umm Ayman. Abū Mālik is weak (ḍaʿīf), and the inconsistency (iḍṭirāb) in it comes from him.
