✧ Some people came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: Let us go to this man; if he is a prophet, we will testify to him, and if he is a king, we will live under his protection. So I came to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him of that. Then they came to the Prophet ﷺ calling him from outside his chamber: O Muhammad, O Muhammad. So Allah, Mighty and Majestic, revealed: 'Indeed, those who call you from behind the chambers, most of them do not reason' (49:4). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took hold of my ear, stretched it, and kept saying: Allah has confirmed your words, O Zayd; Allah has confirmed your words, O Zayd.
