✧ When 'Uthman ؓ was killed, he mentioned a story from 'Ali ؓ then said: 'Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Bakkah.' He ؓ said: 'Verily, it was not the first house that ever existed. Noah (peace and blessings be upon him) was before Abraham (peace and blessings be upon him), and they lived in houses, and Abraham lived in houses. But it was the first House established for mankind, blessed and a guidance for the worlds, in which are clear signs, the Station of Abraham, and whoever enters it is safe.'
