✧ “Whoever recites the Qur'an and acts according to what is in it and dies in the community will be raised on the Day of Resurrection with the noble and righteous scribes. Whoever recites the Qur'an while it slips away from him, Allah the Exalted will give him his reward twice. Whoever is eager for it but cannot do it and does not abandon it, Allah the Exalted will raise him with the nobles of his family, and they will be favored over creatures as eagles are favored over the rest of the birds, and as a spring in a meadow is favored over what surrounds it. Then a caller will call: Where are those who were not distracted from reciting My Book by tending livestock? They will stand up, and one of them will be clothed with the crown of honor and given bliss in his right hand and eternity in his left. Then his parents, if they were Muslims, will be clothed with a garment better than the world and what is in it. They will say: How do we have this, when our deeds did not reach this? It will be said: Your child used to recite the Qur'an.”
