✧ I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a part of the houses of the Ansar ؓ, and he raised his head and saw a dome that had been built. He ﷺ said: «O Anas, whose dome is this?» I said: It belongs to so-and-so. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: «Every building is a burden on its owner on the Day of Resurrection, except a building that is just sufficient.» That reached the Ansari man ؓ, and he broke it down. Then the Prophet ﷺ passed by after that and did not see it, so he ﷺ said: «O Anas, what happened to the dome?» I said: Its owner heard your words and broke it down. He ﷺ said: «May Allah forgive him.»
