✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ mentioned polytheism and said, "It is more hidden among you than the crawling of an ant." Abu Bakr ؓ said, "O Messenger of God, is polytheism anything but making another god with God?" He ﷺ said, "May your mother be bereaved of you, O Abu Bakr! Polytheism is more hidden among you than the crawling of an ant. I will show you something that, if you do it, will remove from you the minor polytheism and its major, or the small polytheism and its large. Say: O God, I seek refuge in You from associating anything with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I do not know."
