✧ Adam and Moses (peace be upon them) argued. Moses said to Adam: You are the one whom Allah created with His own hand, breathed into you from His spirit, and caused you to dwell in His Paradise, then you destroyed us and led us astray. He mentioned as much as Allah willed of this. Adam ﷺ said to him: You are the one whom Allah chose with His words and His messages, yet you blame me for a matter Allah had decreed for me before He created the heavens and the earth? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: So Adam defeated Moses in argument, so Adam defeated Moses in argument.
