قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ الْمَكِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمَسْمُولِيُّ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُخَوَّلٍ الْبَهْزِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ:

قُلْتُ: لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَوْصِنِي، قَالَ: أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ، وَآتِ الزَّكَاةَ، وَصُمْ رَمَضَانَ، وَحُجَّ، وَاعْتَمِرْ، وَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ، وَانْهَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ

Translation

✧ I said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: "Advise me." He said: "Establish the prayer, give the zakah, fast Ramadan, perform Hajj and 'Umrah, enjoin good, and forbid evil."
