✧ Rebuke against violating the honor of a Muslim

قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ؓ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

« الرِّبَا اثْنَانِ وَسَبْعُونَ بَابًا، أَدْنَاهَا مِثْلُ إِتْيَانِ الرَّجُلِ أُمَّهُ، وَأَرْبَى الرِّبَا اسْتِطَالَةُ الرَّجُلِ فِي عِرْضِ صَاحِبِهِ

✧ "Riba has seventy-two doors, the least of which is like a man having intercourse with his mother, and the most serious riba is a man's attack on the honor of his companion."
