✧ Censure of Arrogance and Praise of Humility

وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعُمَرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ، عَنْ عُمَرَ ؓ، قَالَ: لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ، يَقُولُ:
« مَنْ تَوَاضَعَ لِي هَكَذَا رَفَعْتُهُ هَكَذَا »، وَجَعَلَ بَاطِنَ كَفِّهِ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ، ثُمَّ جَعَلَ بَاطِنَ كَفِّهِ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ، وَرَفَعَهَا نَحْوَ السَّمَاءِ
Translation
