حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ. عَنْ عُمَرَ قَالَ: لَا أَعْلَمُ إِلَّا رَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، قَالَ: قَالَ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى:

مَنْ تَوَاضَعَ لِي هَكَذَا - وَأَمَالَ يَزِيدُ بِكَفِّهِ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ - رَفَعْتُهُ هَكَذَا، وَأَشَارَ يَزِيدُ بِبَطْنِ كَفِّهِ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ

✧ Whoever humbles himself for Me like this—and Yazid tilted his hand toward the ground—I will raise him like this, and Yazid gestured with the palm of his hand toward the sky.
