✧ Virtue of Visiting Brothers

قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الطَّحَّانُ الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ خُثَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ السَّرِيِّ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ ؓ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

« أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِرِجَالِكُمْ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ؟ النَّبِيُّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَالشَّهِيدُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَالصِّدِّيقُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَالْمَوْلُودُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَالرَّجُلُ يَزُورُ أَخَاهُ فِي اللهِ تَعَالَى فِي جَانِبِ الْمِصْرِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ

The Prophet is in Paradise, the martyr is among the people of Paradise, the ṣiddīq is among the people of Paradise, the newborn is among the people of Paradise, and a man who visits his brother for the sake of God, Exalted is He, in a distant part of the city is in Paradise.”
