machine translationIbn ʿUyaynah narrated it from Ṣafwān and established its chain, saying: from Unaysah, from Umm Saʿīd bint Murrah, from her father. Mālik narrated it from Ṣafwān b. Sulaym, that it reached him that the Messenger of God ﷺ said... Ibn ʿAjlān also narrated it, and there is disagreement about him: Muḥammad b. Juḥādah narrated it from Ibn ʿAjlān, from Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from the daughter of Murrah, from her father. The hadith belongs to Ibn ʿUyaynah, because he preserved its chain accurately. Muḥammad b. ʿAmr narrated it from Ṣafwān b. Sulaym, from the daughter of Murrah, from the Prophet ﷺ, without mentioning her father, and without mentioning anyone between her and Ṣafwān. The statement of Ibn ʿUyaynah is more sound (aṣaḥḥ).
