✧ He gathered them at their anchorage during their naval expedition, on the ship of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari ؓ. He said: When our lunch was ready, we sent for Abu Ayyub al-Ansari ؓ and the people of his ship. Abu Ayyub came to us and said: 'You invited me while I am fasting, and it was incumbent upon me to answer you. I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: "A Muslim has six obligatory rights over a Muslim. Whoever abandons any of them has abandoned an obligatory right for his brother: to answer him when he invites him, to greet him when he meets him, to bless him when he sneezes, to visit him when he is ill, to follow his funeral when he dies, and to counsel him when he seeks counsel."'
