✧ The Prophet ﷺ entered upon Umm Salamah ؓ, and with her was a boy whose nostrils were gushing blood. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'What is this?' They said: 'He has the 'udhrah (inflammation of the throat/tonsils).' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Why do you torment your children? It is enough for one of you to take Indian costus, rub it with water seven times, and then pour it into his mouth.' He said: So they did that, and he recovered.
