✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded me to kill dogs. I went out and did not see a dog without killing it. Then there was a dog going around, and I went to kill it, but a person from inside a house called out to me: 'What do you want to do?' I said: 'I want to kill this dog.' She said: 'I am a woman in a remote area, and this dog protects me from wild animals and alerts me to intruders.' So I came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned that to him, and he commanded me to kill it.
