✧ Lawfulness of that which does not have a fang

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، ثَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ سَعِيدُ بْنُ إِيَاسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ، قَالَ:

أُكِلَ الضَّبُّ عَلَى مَائِدَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، وَلَمْ يَأْكُلْهُ وَلَمْ يَنْهَ [عَنْهُ] ".

Translation

  3. Abū al-ʿAlāʾ

✧ The dabb lizard was eaten at the table of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he did not eat it nor did he forbid [it]."
