قَالَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ تَمَّامٍ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ ؓ قَالَ: " إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ
نَهَى عَنِ الْوَسْمِ فِي الْوَجْهِ. فَقَالَ الْعَبَّاسُ ؓ: " لَا أَسِمُ إِلَّا فِي آخِرِ عَظْمٍ، فَوَسَمَ فِي الْجَاعِرَتَيْنِ
Translation

✧ He forbade branding on the face. Al-Abbas ؓ said: 'I will not brand except at the end of a bone,' so he branded on the two ja'iratain (the two sides of the rump).
