✧ The desirability of displaying blessings if it is not extravagance or arrogance

وَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ: حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَسْلَمَ الْمِنْقَرِيِّ، عَنْ زُهَيْرِ بْنِ أَبِي عَلْقَمَةَ، قَالَ:
رَأَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ رَجُلًا سَيِّئَ الْهَيْئَةِ، فَقَالَ: أَلَكَ مَالٌ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ مِنْ أَنْوَاعِ الْمَالِ. قَالَ ﷺ: فَلْيُرَ أَثَرُهُ عَلَيْكَ ; فَإِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى يُحِبُّ أَنْ يَرَى أَثَرَ النِّعْمَةِ عَلَى عَبْدِهِ وَيَكْرَهُ الْبُؤْسَ وَالتَّبَاؤُسَ ".

✧ The Prophet ﷺ saw a man of disheveled appearance, so he said: Do you have wealth? He said: Yes, of various kinds of wealth. He ﷺ said: Then let its effect be seen on you, for Allah, exalted is He, loves to see the effect of His blessing on His servant and hates wretchedness and feigning wretchedness."
