✧ Residence of the Woman Observing the Waiting Period after Triple Divorce

إِسْحَاقُ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ بُرْقَانَ، عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ، قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنِ الْمُطَلَّقَةِ ثَلَاثًا، أَيْنَ تَسْتَعِدُّ ؟ فَقَالَ: فِي بَيْتِ زَوْجِهَا، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: فَأَيْنَ حَدِيثُ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ ؟ قَالَ: تِلْكَ امْرَأَةٌ فَتَنَتِ النَّاسَ، كَانَتْ لَسِنَةً. أَوْ قَالَ: كَانَتِ امْرَأَةً فِي لِسَانِهَا شَرٌّ عَلَى أَحْمَائِهَا
Translation

✧ I asked Sa'id b. al-Musayyib about a woman divorced three times: Where should she observe her waiting period? He said: In her husband's house. I said to him: Then what about the hadith of Fatimah bt. Qays? He said: That woman caused trouble for the people; she was foul-tongued. Or he said: She was a woman with evil in her tongue towards her in-laws.
