قَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى: حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ، ثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَتْنَا حَبَابَةُ بِنْتُ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ أُمِّهَا أُمِّ حَفْصٍ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَكِيمٍ بِنْتِ وَدَاعٍ الْخُزَاعِيَّةِ، قَالَتْ:
قُلْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ: يُكْرَهُ رَدُّ اللُّطْفِ ؟ قَالَ: « مَا أَقْبَحَهُ ! لَوْ أُهْدِيَ إِلَيَّ كُرَاعٌ لَقَبِلْتُ، وَلَوْ دُعِيتُ إِلَيْهِ لَأَجَبْتُ
