✧ A guest came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so he sent me to a Jew and said, 'Tell him: The Messenger of Allah says, "Sell to me or lend me until Rajab."' I went to him and said that. He said, 'By Allah, I will neither sell to him nor lend him except with a pledge!' I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and informed him. He said, 'By Allah, if he had sold to me or lent to me, I would have paid him. I am trustworthy in heaven and trustworthy on earth. Take my iron coat of mail to him.' He said: Then it was revealed, consoling him about this world: 'Do not extend your eyes toward what We have given some groups of them to enjoy—the splendor of worldly life.'
