✧ The Creditor Has the Right to Speak, and the Virtue of One Who Pays His Debt

وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ زَمْعَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ؓ قَالَ:

إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَرَّ بِهِ وَهُوَ مُلَازِمٌ رَجُلًا فِي أُوقِيَّتَيْنِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ هَكَذَا

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ passed by him while he was detaining a man for two uqiyyahs, and the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Thus (it is done).'
