✧ Ablution after Eating What Fire Has Touched and the Clarification of Its Abrogation

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ:

« لَوْ أَكَلْتُ لَحْمًا، وَشَرِبْتُ لَبَنَ اللِّقَاحِ، ثُمَّ أُصَلِّي وَلَمْ أَتَوَضَّأْ مَا بَالَيْتُ أَنْ لَا أُمَضْمِضَ فَمِي وَأَغْسِلَ يَدَيَّ مِنْ غَمْرِ الطَّعَامِ

Translation

✧ If I ate meat and drank the milk of milch-camels, then prayed without performing ablution, I would not care if I did not rinse my mouth and wash my hands from the residue of the food.
