✧ Rinsing the Mouth After Drinks

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ قَالَ:

شَرِبَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ لَبَنًا ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ، فَقُلْتُ: أَلَا تُمَضْمِضُ ؟ قَالَ: لَا أُبَالِيهِ، اسْمَحُوا يَسْمَحِ اللهُ لَكُمْ

Translation

✧ Ibn 'Abbas drank milk, then stood up for prayer. I said: 'Will you not rinse your mouth?' He said: 'I do not care. Be lenient and God will be lenient with you.'
