✧ Ablution after Eating What Fire Has Touched and the Clarification of Its Abrogation

قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ

أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ؓ، كَانَ يَتَوَضَّأُ مِمَّا غَيَّرَتِ النَّارُ، وَيُحَدِّثُ « أَنَّ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ ؓ تَوَضَّأَ مِمَّا غَيَّرَتِ النَّارُ

Translation

✧ Anas b. Malik ؓ used to perform ablution after eating what fire had touched, and he reported that Abu Talhah ؓ performed ablution after eating what fire had touched.
