machine translationAbū Muʿāwiyah al-Ḍarīr narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. ʿAmr b. ʿAlī narrated it from Abū Muʿāwiyah al-Ḍarīr, from Hilāl b. Maymūn al-Filasṭīnī, from ʿAṭāʾ b. Yazīd al-Laythī, from Abū Hurayrah, and he erred in this regarding Abū Muʿāwiyah. Others narrate it from Abū Muʿāwiyah, from Muḥammad b. Isḥāq, from Jamīl b. Abī Maymūnah, from ʿAṭāʾ b. Yazīd, from Abū Hurayrah, and this is the correct one.
