وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، ثَنَا فَرَجُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، ثَنَا أَبُو هُبَيْرَةَ، عَنْ صَدَقَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:
إِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الصِّيَامِ صِيَامُ أَخِي دَاوُدَ، كَانَ يَصُومُ نِصْفَ الدَّهْرِ، يَصُومُ يَوْمًا وَيُفْطِرُ يَوْمًا.
