✧ He heard the Prophet ﷺ say when the month of Ramadan had begun: "If the servants knew what is in Ramadan, my community would wish that the whole year were Ramadan." A man from Khuza'ah said: "Tell us about it." He ﷺ said: "Paradise is adorned for Ramadan from the beginning of the year to the beginning of the year, until when the first day of Ramadan comes, a wind blows from beneath the Throne and rustles the leaves of Paradise. The houris with large eyes look at that and say: 'O Lord, grant us husbands from Your servants in this noble month who will be a delight to our eyes and whose eyes will be delighted by us.' There is no servant who fasts Ramadan except that he is married to a wife from the houris with large eyes in a tent of hollow pearl, as God Most High described: 'Houris, restrained in pavilions.' Each of them has seventy garments, no garment the same color as another, and she is given seventy kinds of perfume, no kind with the scent of another. Each of them has seventy couches of red ruby adorned with pearls, on each couch seventy beds with linings of brocade, and above the seventy beds seventy canopied couches. Each woman has a thousand maidservants for her needs and a thousand manservants, with each manservant a platter of gold containing a kind of food, the last morsel of which gives a pleasure not found in the first. Her husband is given the like of that on a couch of red ruby, upon him two bracelets of gold adorned with red ruby. This is for each day of Ramadan, besides the good deeds he has done."
