✧ Urging charity and its virtue

وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَنْبَسِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ:

لَأَنْ أَتَصَدَّقَ بِخَاتَمِي هَذَا عَلَى مِسْكِينٍ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَلْفِ دِرْهَمٍ أُهْدِيهَا إِلَى الْبَيْتِ

Translation

✧ That I give this ring of mine in charity to a poor person is more beloved to me than a thousand dirhams I gift to the House.
