✧ Abu Hurayrah ؓ said to a man from among the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: 'Should a man go out fighting in the path of Allah, the Exalted, and be killed as a martyr in a region of the earth, and then a foolish, ignorant woman weep over him—would he be punished because of her weeping over him?' The man replied to Abu Hurayrah ؓ: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke the truth, and Abu Hurayrah has erred.'
