وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ، قَالَ:
لَمَّا مَاتَتْ مَيْمُونَةُ ؓ وَهِيَ خَالَتُهُ، أَخَذْتُ رِدَائِي فَبَسَطْتُهُ فِي لَحْدِهَا، فَأَخَذَهُ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ فَرَمَى بِهِ
