The Ghusl to Enter Ihram

حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ

أَنَّ رَجُلاً جَاءَ إِلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ فَقَالَ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِنِّي أَصَبْتُ جَرَادَاتٍ بِسَوْطِي وَأَنَا مُحْرِمٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ أَطْعِمْ قَبْضَةً مِنْ طَعَامٍ

Translation

Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam that a man came to Umar ibn al-Khattab and said, "Amir al-muminin, I killed some locusts with my whip when I was in ihram," and Umar said to him, "Give a handful of food."
