machine translationʿUbayd Allāh b. ʿUmar narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān, Abū Ḥamzah, Ḥammād b. Salamah, ʿAbdullāh b. Rajāʾ, Thābit b. Yazīd, Abū Usāmah, Hishām b. Ḥassān, Abān b. Yazīd al-ʿAṭṭār, Rawḥ b. al-Qāsim, Maʿmar and Isḥāq al-Azraq narrated it from ʿUbayd Allāh, from Saʿīd, from Abū Hurayrah. Baqiyyah differed from them and narrated it from ʿUbayd Allāh, from Saʿīd, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah. Abū Maʿshar narrated it from Saʿīd, from Abū Hurayrah. Muḥammad b. Isḥāq also narrated it, and there is disagreement about him. Ḥammād b. Salamah narrated it from Ibn Isḥāq, from Saʿīd, from Abū Hurayrah. Ibrāhīm b. Saʿd, Aḥmad b. Khālid al-Wahbī, Mindal and Ismāʿīl b. ʿUlayyah differed from him; they narrated it from Ibn Isḥāq, from Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from ʿAṭāʾ, the freedman of Umm Ṣubayyah, from Abū Hurayrah. Muḥammad b. Salamah said likewise from Ibn Isḥāq. It was also said from him, from Muḥammad b. Isḥāq, from Saʿīd b. Abī Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah. And it was said from Ibn Isḥāq, from Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from Saʿīd the freedman of Ṣadaqah, from Abū Ṣadaqah, and this is a misreading (taṣḥīf). Yūnus b. Bukayr said, from Ibn Isḥāq, from Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from Abū Hurayrah and from his uncle, from ʿUbayd Allāh b. Abī Rāfiʿ, from ʿAlī; both said: the Messenger of God ﷺ said. Ibn Abī ʿAdī said, from Ibn Isḥāq, from al-Maqburī, from ʿAṭāʾ, the freedman of Umm Ṣafiyyah, which is a misreading (taṣḥīf). The correct one is from ʿAṭāʾ, the freedman of Umm Ṣubayyah, from Abū Hurayrah.
