حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنِ الإِفْرِيقِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ

خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَفِي إِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ ثَوْبٌ مِنْ حَرِيرٍ وَفِي الأُخْرَى ذَهَبٌ فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَذَيْنِ مُحَرَّمٌ عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي حِلٌّ لإِنَاثِهِمْ

Translation

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us, and in one of his hands was a garment of silk and in the other was some gold. He said: ‘These are forbidden to the males of my nation and permitted to the females.’”
