✧ The gold ring

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ زُرَيْقٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ صَعْصَعَةَ بْنِ صُوحَانَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

«نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ حَلْقَةِ الذَّهَبِ وَالْقَسِّيِّ وَالْمِيثَرَةِ وَالْجِعَةِ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَالَّذِي قَبْلَهُ أَشْبَهُ بِالصَّوَابِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade me from gold rings, qassi, saddlecloths, and barley drink. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: And the one before it is more likely correct.
