✧ We stayed one night waiting for the Messenger of God ﷺ for the later night prayer. He came out to us when a third of the night had passed, and we did not know what had kept him—something with his family or otherwise. When he came out, he said: You are waiting for a prayer that no people of a religion other than you wait for. Were it not that it would be heavy upon my community, I would pray with them at this hour. Then he ordered the muezzin, and he commenced the prayer, and he prayed.
