✧ A bedouin came to the Prophet ﷺ with disheveled hair and said: O Messenger of God, tell me what God has made obligatory upon me of prayer. He said: The five prayers, unless you wish to do something voluntary. He said: Tell me what God has made obligatory upon me of zakāh. He said: The Messenger of God ﷺ informed him of the laws of Islam. He said: By the One who has honored you, I will not do anything voluntary, nor will I reduce anything of what God has made obligatory upon me. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "He has succeeded, by his father, if he is truthful – or he has entered Paradise, by his father, if he is truthful."
