✧ We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at the time of al-Hudaybiyyah. My companions entered ihram, but I did not. I saw a wild donkey, so I attacked it and hunted it. I mentioned its matter to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I mentioned that I had not entered ihram and that I had only hunted it for you. The Prophet ﷺ ordered his companions, and they ate, but he did not eat from it when I informed him that I had hunted it for him.
