Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 2900

✧ The Prophet ﷺ only permitted eating game meat for the one in ihram when it was hunted by someone in a state of ihram

2900 حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَسَدٌ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُوسَى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ - وَهُوَ ابْنُ سَالِمٍ عَنْ عَمْرٍو مَوْلَى الْمُطَّلِبِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ سَوَاءً، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ:

" صَيْدُ الْبَرِّ "، وَلَمْ يَقُلْ: لَحْمٌ::

In another place he said: Muḥammad said: I do not know of him having heard from any of the Companions, except for his saying, "Someone who attended the sermon of the Messenger of God ﷺ narrated to me." And I heard ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān say: We do not know of him having heard from any of the Companions.
