✧ We set out with the Messenger of God ﷺ, intending nothing but the Hajj, until the Messenger of God ﷺ arrived in Makkah, circumambulated the House seven times, prayed two rak'ahs behind the Maqam, then said: "We begin with that which God began with." So he began with al-Safa, until he completed the seventh round at al-Marwah. Then Ali b. Abi Talib came to him with his sacrificial animals from Yemen. The Messenger of God ﷺ said to him: "For what did you enter ihram?" He replied: I said: "O God, I enter ihram for that for which Your Messenger entered ihram." He said: "Indeed I have entered ihram for Hajj."
