Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 2705

Translation

✧ This verse was revealed: “You will not attain righteousness until you spend from that which you love.” He said: “Or who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan.” Abu Talhah said: “O Messenger of Allah, my garden in such-and-such place is for Allah, and if I could have kept it secret I would not have made it public.” He said: “Give it to the poor of your relatives, or of your household.”
