✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a man from the people of Yemen over its zakat, and he came with many black goods. When I sent someone to receive it from him, he said: This is for me and this is for you. If he is asked: Where did you get this? He says: It was gifted to me. Why, if he was truthful, was it gifted to him while he was in the house of his father or his mother? Then he said: “I do not send a man on a task and he embezzles from it anything, except he will come with it on the Day of Resurrection on his neck—a camel bellowing, or a cow mooing, or a sheep bleating.” Then he said: “O Allah, have I conveyed?”
