machine translationAl-Zuhrī narrates it, and there is disagreement about it from him. Maʿmar, Shuʿayb b. Abī Ḥamzah, ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Isḥāq and al-Jarrāḥ b. Minhāl narrated it from al-Zuhrī, from ʿAlī b. al-Ḥusayn, from Ṣafiyyah. Ibn ʿUyaynah narrated it from al-Zuhrī, from ʿAlī b. al-Ḥusayn as a mursal report (mursal), and the connected (muttaṣil) version is more authentic (aṣaḥḥ).
