حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ - عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

لَا يَصُومُ يَوْمًا عَبْدٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ إِلَّا بَاعَدَ اللهُ بِذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ وَجْهَهُ عَنِ النَّارِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا

Translation

✧ No servant fasts a day in the cause of Allah except that Allah, because of that day, distances his face from the Fire by seventy autumns.
